The Bibliography of Swiss Genealogies provides a bibliographic listing, arranged alphabetically by family name, of close to ten thousand genealogical monographs and essays. The bibliography is a comprehensive integration of previously published Swiss national genealogical bibliographies, genealogical bibliographies of the various cantons, and selected foreign genealogical resources. Also included are many hitherto unlisted titles that the compiler uncovered through extensive archival and library research. The inclusion of place of origin for many of the families listed is particularly useful. Only its flimsy binding detracts from the attractiveness of this otherwise excellent genealogical bibliographic resource. (sh/jb)
