This directory of Nobel Prize winners associated with Germany’s leading scientific institute, the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (formerly the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gesellschaft), lists some 67 scientists. Of these, 28 enjoyed full-time, permanent positions with the Institute, while the remaining had bona fide but weaker connections, e.g., scientists with membership in the Institute but employed elsewhere. Each entry includes a photo and basic biographical information of the kind readily available elsewhere.
