The 14th edition of this dictionary, which is aimed at specialists, discusses in more depth the topics of its previous editions. To do so without becoming overly unwieldy, it now excludes the special section on testing procedures. Otherwise, it still contains definitions of concepts and long survey articles on research of particular relevance. Articles on individuals are generally short and without references to secondary literature, but they have been partly reworked. An alphabetical list of references also serves as a list of sources and has grown from 112 to 130 pages. [sh/mjc]
